Let’s Stand for Respect on Pink Shirt Day - Wednesday, February 26

On Wednesday, February 26, we’re recognizing Pink Shirt Day, a day dedicated to promoting respect, kindness, and inclusion - values that create strong workplaces and communities.

This movement started in 2007 when a Canadian grade 9 student was bullied for wearing a pink shirt. In a show of support, two older students rallied their classmates to wear pink in solidarity. What started as a small act of kindness became a nationwide movement to stand against bullying and foster respect for all.

How You Can Take Part:

👚 Wear Pink - Show your support by wearing pink.

📸 Share Your Support - Meet in the cafe at 12:00pm for a group photo (Vaughan Head Office)

💬 Lead with Respect - Whether it’s a kind word, listening to a colleague, or making space for different perspectives, small actions create a culture where everyone feels valued.

Respect is at the heart of everything we do. Let’s show our support - one act of kindness at a time.
