Safety Week Recap

Last week, teams across some of our Canadian sites came together to refocus, recommit, and reinforce our shared responsibility to protect ourselves and each other. Through daily safety meetings, open dialogue, and active participation from Senior Management, we turned safety from a concept into action.

Each day brought a spotlight on a key theme:

  • Day 1: Pre-Task Planning — Preparation as our first line of defense.

  • Day 2: STOP Work — Shared vigilance and the courage to speak up.

  • Day 3: Mental Health & Wellbeing — Recognizing invisible hazards and supporting emotional safety.

  • Day 5: Hazardous Energy Control — Reinforcing life-saving procedures and protocols.

We also celebrated those who go above and beyond through the Safety MVP Program, recognizing the everyday leaders who make safety a lived experience.

This week was impactful, educational, and empowering—and it doesn’t end here. Let’s carry these conversations forward, keep raising the bar, and continue building a culture where safety is everyone’s responsibility, every single day.
